Apple Education provides a complete eco-system to enable ‘ubiquitous learning’ that covers students, teachers, training, curriculum and IT deployments in schools and communities. We have extensive experience in integrating Apple operating systems, devices, products and services into multiplatform infrastructures, together with system-wide management and support of large Apple networks in over 60 schools. We began with a love of Apple, and it has deepened over time as we grew and implemented their ecosystem in numerous schools.
Today we offer a full range of Apple services and expertise, including the only Apple Consultants Network in the Rotorua area, the only bilingual Apple Professional Learning Specialist in New Zealand. In conjunction with Te Āti Awa and the Taranaki southern Iwi Partners, Mb3 and the TOI Foundation are building a wireless internet service that is designed to enable students access to the internet for free.
Whilst this service is being provided to the community, commercial grade connectivity is also available to homes, businesses and other commercial organisations around Taranaki at a highly discounted rate.
The commercial customers offset the cost to provide it to the families who can't afford it.
Starting in Opunake, Waverley and Waitara this network will allow children to connect wherever the service is available.
To implement major digital transformation rollouts we work closely with the The Warehouse Group. Their scale, skill sets, and nationwide coverage with 84 stores enable us to apply our culturally-attuned approach to initiate and support digital learning and community collaborations nationwide. Their New Zealand ownership and strong commitment to supporting local communities reinforce our own commitment, and we work closely together innovating solutions that enable us to provide the required devices, infrastructure, finance and support systems to put ‘Ubiquitous Learning Environments’ and digital transformations in place.
Microsoft plays a critical role in enabling New Zealand children to connect to their learning online. From the benchmark of all Office suites to Minecraft EE, we support the integration of Microsoft platforms into our schools.
From building a platform to support Minecraft in education to ensuing Microsoft Azure Active directory is syncing with a KAMAR server in schools, Mb3 works in closely with Microsoft to ensure the schools systems work seamlessly with one another.
We have spent a great deal of time working with Microsoft Intune as a viable MDM across iPad & Windows devices.

Mb3 works with a range of MDM suppliers to provide the best MDM for the individual ecosystem and choice of devices of each end user in both education and business environment: specifically Apple Mac iOS, Apple Mac OS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Windows.
Lightspeed is our supplier of choice for Apple ecosystems using iOS devices – iPad and iPhone. We like their software so much we are their official distributor in New Zealand, and pre-install it on all new iOS devices for schools before delivering them.
JAMF PRO/JAMF SCHOOL
The leader in managing and deploying Mac OS based devices – iMac, Macbook, Mac Pro. JAMF Now is a free alternative of JAMF Pro, with more limited functionality.
MICROSOFT INTUNE - WINDOWS AUTOPILOT
The Microsoft 365 Education Bundle supports devices running on Windows 10. Intune for Education is Microsoft’s cloud-based, MDM service for schools. It is also very good for managing iPads, with some prior technical knowledge.
Google's G Suite for Education is a cloud-based collaboration suite fine-tuned to empower educators and students.
Like G Suite for business, it provides fast, lean ‘cloud-based’ tools that enhance learning and productivity by enabling collaboration in a shared on-line workspace, streamlining communication and collaborative work use documents, slides, chat, calendar and video-conferencing tools, together with unlimited data storage. We partner with Google to help schools and businesses plan and implement Google G Suite, and provide ongoing virtual admin support.
