TE REO MAORI GUIDE TO USING THE BOOK CREATOR APP
Our team recognises that educators globally are being asked to step up their e-learning capabilities as never before. Educators in New Zealand face the additional challenge of trying to provide high quality digital resources in te Reo Māori and our extensive work here in Rotorua, tells us that these resources are few and far between.
We strongly believe that all learners in our bicultural nation deserve access to the best relevant learning resources in both the English and Māori languages. As part of our commitment to honouring our values and to ensuring that technology is inspiring, powerful and simple, we have created this first simple and accessible resource in te Reo Māori suitable for teachers and learners alike to explore the Book Creator app together.
This is an initial step in what we hope will be an ongoing dialogue with our Māori language educators about the resources our learners most need to spark their imaginations and grow their digital skills.
Please contact Maiau through our support channel and she will contact with you in regards to this app.
BEING! FIVE WAYS OF LEADING AUTHENTICALLY IN AN iCONNECTED WORLD
Being! Five Ways of Leading Authentically in an iConnected World, began life in 2010 as a year-long learning and development programme on leadership for middle and senior managers in the telecommunications and banking sectors provided by the Academy for Collaborative Futures (ACF).
In 2016, Ngā Pūmanawa e Waru Trust (NPeW), Rotorua, New Zealand, used the programme’s leadership and change management content to spearhead its avowed intent of making Rotorua a great place to learn. Hundreds of teachers, heads of departments, and principals from schools across Rotorua city, participated on the NPeW-ACF programmes.
As an alumnus of the NPeW-ACF programmes, this book will bring back pleasant (?) memories of the time you spent with your colleagues engaging with the virtues and practices of leadership. Akin to your learning on those programmes, this book’s raison d’etre is to build adaptiveness, resilience and personal effectiveness in uncertain times.
Here’s hoping you find it delivers on its purpose.
With all our very best wishes

Mb3 PROUDLY SUPPORTS GREAT TE ARAWA STORIES
In 2017 Mb3 Ltd. supported the Ngā Pūmanawa e Waru Education Trust in building the Great Te Arawa Stories website.
GTAS is a beautiful website that takes the reader on a journey around Rotorua starting in the early 1700's. It has been an absolute honour working with NPeW and the team to build this website.
Check it out and let us know what you think!
